First held in 2019 - Buninyong Art Prize & Exhibition returns in 2026. Held on 9 to 11 October 2026, this event is organised by a small team of committed volunteers supported by Buninyong Community Events Inc. BCE Inc. is an established community based not-for-profit incorporated association with a demonstrated record of delivering successful community events over many years.

 

Building on the success of 2019 and 2024 and 2025, the Buninyong Art Prize & Exhibition will showcase the Buninyong Town Hall, activating this important community space with diverse works created by an expected 200 local and regional creatives and artists along with live music and refreshments.

 

The Art Prize & Exhibition will provide an important and otherwise unavailable opportunity for local artists to showcase their talent in their home community. The Art Prize & Exhibition will encourage artists and creatives from diverse backgrounds working in traditional and non-tradition media to contribute works to the exhibition.

A respected artistic leader will be invited to judge the exhibition awarding prizes in six categories. Artists will be invited to make their works available for purchase during the exhibition.

 

The Buninyong Art Prize & Exhibition is a free to attend event held in the heritage listed Buninyong Town Hall.
