About the Workshop

Buninyong Bunnies

These sessions will be an ideal introduction to working with air dry clay and the outcome will be a cute bunny with a unique personality!

Over the course of four hours, you will learn how to create your bunny and add features to give it a character of its own.

You will leave the workshop with a folk art bun, a rustic wooden base, plus the materials and know how to finish it completely.

With simple tools and clay which are readily available, you will have the skills to make...anything!!!

Working with clay is so relaxing, so come along, get your hands dirty and spend an enjoyable afternoon chatting while playing with clay!

Lesley Hale is a performing and visual artist living in her rural haven in Durham Lead, near Buninyong, on a heavenly bit of land with her partner Chris and their lovely cat Murphy. They also have a nice brood of chooks, a noisy goose and an ever growing group of demanding wood ducks. Lesley loves the serenity (Ah! The serenity!), the colours and sounds of the bush which give her so much inspiration.

Lesley loves working with clay, metal and paint. These artistic elements, her garden and her friends feeds her soul!
