MARGAUX CHANT
Workshop 2 hours
Saturday 16 October 2021 - 2 workshops

This “TWO HOUR” workshop will have leave Buninyong with your very own finished mosaic planter - ready for you to grout when dry and plant up with your favourite plant!
About the Workshop
Mosaic a Planter

Join Margaux for a 2 hour workshop where she will introduce the participants to all the techniques to design and create your very own planter.

All materials are supplied so you won't need to bring a thing. However, if you have a special piece that you'd like to repurpose for your planter, please bring it along and Margaux will guide you in the right direction.
As the glue needs time to dry before grouting, a kit and instructions will be provided for you to take your planter home and grout yourself. Margaux will give you a grouting demonstration during the workshop.
No skills are required.

Meet the Artist
Margaux Chant
The Margaux Storey (my birth surname) is a homewares brand made at my home studio in Mount Helen, Victoria.

Formally trained as a Ceramicist - Bachelor of Visual Arts, Honours, my design process is founded on both aesthetic and function.

I mainly work with clay and pottery pieces but work with several media. I love making custom pieces from your treasures using the mosaic process. Pop into the 'Gallery' section for ideas or over to my Instagram @margauxstorey. You can contact me via email or direct message on social media to arrange a custom order. The tactile pieces are made to be touched, held and used having been crafted into a new form, giving joy and longevity.

You can buy my work online here or at The Green House in Ballarat where I sell my small planters. I also hold mosaic workshops at The Green House where you can make your very own planters.
