About the Workshop
Dimensional Illustrations
Paper Sculptures

Paper cut sculpture, a form of paper cutting, is a contemporary development of a traditional art form. Instead of flat, two-dimensional pieces, the art is given a three-dimensional form.

It is created by shaping or combining different types of papers great precision and unlike Origami, paper sculptures are made of several pieces of paper instead of one.

Participants will be introduced to the materials and techniques used in paper sculpture, creating their own low-relief sculptural illustration from a suite of supplied patterns, and/or their own designs.
